It's always fun to get a little creative when it comes to dying Easter eggs...so this year we decided to do 'spin art'! It actually worked out kinda brilliantly since the mess is contained inside the spinner!
You just add a few drops of dye and then give it a whirl! After dying the eggs, we tucked Lambie into bed and the rest of us, snugged up and watched Marley & Me. After the movie was over and the bigger kids went to bed, we busted out the candy, toys, plastic eggs...etc. and got to work!
There aren't Easter baskets big enough...it all seemed to spill over, so we filled the baskets with what we could and then just threw the rest on the couch! LOL We get an A+ for presentation...I know, you're thinking...I should be Martha Stewart! Ha!
Cause we're just big kids too!
After the kids woke up & checked out their baskets, found the Easter eggs that had been 'hidden', they changed into their Easter outfits, we loaded up the car, grabbed Mc D's. stopped off at Kroger to pick up some subs & snacks...then headed out to Memorial Park on Tybee Isl. for what is now the 2nd Annual Savannah Area Mom's Easter Egg Hunt/Picnic! [SAM's are a fabulous group of ladies, stemming from CafeMom that were are HUGE part of getting us through the last deployment]
Oh how fun!! Ryan is a serious egg finder. I think he and Sydney need to go head-to-head :) Love that little egg spinner!! So cool!
