Our little afternoon adventure...

We had a normal kinda morning...getting the kids off to school, hanging out w/Lambie, Starbucks and then off to our lunch/play date with Naima & Jad! But, a couple days ago, I got this sudden urge to wash the Zapp & Xplory seats...well, I left the Stokke in the car and completely forgot to put the seat back on...duh. So when we got to Forsyth, I realised that Lambie was just going to have to walk. It's seriously a gorgeous day here...alittle humid, but there is a nice breeze...so it's a perfect day for a stroll through Forsyth. I guess I never realised how big Forsyth is...we usually only make it to the playground, which is apparently only 1/2 way through. Anyways, she walked through Forsyth...through 2 squares and down a half a block!

Just to illustrate how far she really trekked! Such a trooper...just don't tell Fred...he might make me get rid of some strollers!

We finally made it to Soho Cafe...restaurant/art gallery. Awesome atmosphere...it's really eclectic, perfect for our laid back luncheon! Lambie decided to try something new with her PB & J! She took her Teddy Grahams and scooped the inside of her sandwich out, then ate the Teddy Graham!? So strange...

...and then when she ran outta Teddy Grahams, the PB & J ended up smeared all over her face! ...and the exciting part...

Right after our food arrives I get a call from Fred that Ry has a fever and has to be picked up from school...[something Fred would normally do, especially in this situation, but he's in Alabama] So we quickly finish our lunch and started the hike back to the car. We made it through Madison Sqr. after being distracted by an adorable lab puppy and then I realised...at this pace, Ryan could take the bus home from school...so we said goodbye to Naima & Jad, hoped in a pedicab and sped away!

She had so much fun she didn't want to get out!

If we weren't in such a rush to get Ry, it would've been nice to ride around downtown!

We are home now...Ry is sleeping it off, his fever is gone...so hopefully, he'll feel better in the morning. Cause some of our FAVORITE people are in town...and we are getting together with them tomorrow! YAY!
