A weekend of nothing-ness!

We totally needed this weekend of R & R, especially with the craziness of the upcoming Holidays! Friday night, we vegg'd out and watched movies! Saturday, was very chill...feeding the ducks @ Lake Mayer and then an after dinner trip to Cold Stone!

Checking out the fountain! She really wanted to just jump right in!Thanks for the ride, Daddy! By Sunday night we were all suffering from 'cabin fever'! So, we took the kids on a walk to check out the Christmas lights... Kendan & Kailee, walking Felise... [looking @ a mini hat on a stick] KIDS!? Earlier in the day, Kailee went with Kendan and his family downtown to ice skate. She took one of our digi cam's but sadly all the pics came out blurry! [this was all I could salvage...no clue!? But, it sure is pretty!] Brrrr...Sunday night was a little chilly! Ryan is such a big helper... [but, what you can't tell is that he's spinning her in circles!] Cinnamon rolls for dessert, knocked her out! There was some work involved. We spent the evenings [after the kids went to bed] wrapping presents...I vowed that this year, we would not be up till 3am Christmas Eve wrapping gifts! I also, fully believe the manufactures of Transformers need to rethink their packaging for the sake of the parents who have to wrap them... And, after months of dragging his feet...I finally forced Fred into the garage to tackle the boxes upon boxes of gear and [for lack of a better term] crap, that he brought back from Iraq! Once we get the Christmas decorations put back up...we might be able to squeeze a car in there! Woo Hoo!
