Terrific Tuesdays...

Me & Lambie's morning started with Storytime at the Oglethorpe Library. Then we grabbed some Starbucks and headed over to the softplay, to kill sometime while we waited for our lunch date w/Naima & Jad. We ran into Marisa, who I haven't seen since Fred switched units, penciled in a double date and quickly caught up...then April & Ava popped into the Softplay, it's been about a year and a half since we saw them. So our morning started out great and only got better from there!!! When we arrived downtown for lunch w/Naima & Jad...Melissa & Bella [some new friends] were there as well! Yay...the more the merrier. We had an exciting, yet very slow lunch at Loco's Pub...

Then we strolled around downtown, checked out Marc Jacobs & Gap, did alittle shopping and then... ...we made our way down to Riverstreet!

Mmm Mmm...we stopped in at Papillote, a teeny tiny French bakery...because Naima said they have the best brownies...

So I picked up a couple, as a sweet treat for the Hubster.

This is from dinner @ Olive Garden last night...I told you they gave Kailee w/her own cheese grater!

I can't wait to see what the rest of the week has in store...

Picnic in the Park w/Mercer

So, Johnny Mercer is kind of a big deal around these parts...so every year they have this "Picnic in the Park". You can come out and listen to the live bands, spread out a blanket & relax on one of Forsyths sprawling fields, eat, drink...etc! This is our first year going and it was a blast! We met up with Naima, Mo & Jad. Who introduced us to Melissa, Jack & Bella. [a couple other couples ended up joining us from time to time] To say the least...it was a really great group of people!

Fred took a walk to Kroger for more drinks & cash...he took Lambie with him, she was tuckered out by the time they got back!

We left the house at 2:30 and didn't get home till 8:30! It was an amazingly awesome day at Forsyth, I hope we can get together with this group again...good food & great conversation! The gorgeous weather didn't last long...it's been raining since late last night, and it doesn't look like it's letting up anytime soon!

Woot Woot!

Just a couple pics, cause I wasn't gonna blog this...but its an easy way to let everyone know...it's once again, safe to call! ;]

So, if we have talked on the phone in the last month, you'll know what a POS my phone is. It has truly taken a turn for the worse! After the condensation from my nightly glass of water seeped into the phone, it has been disconnecting calls and randomly shutting off...not to mention pressing #5 w/out it also registering #2, has become a problem and I'm lucky if I can get the #1 to work...so heaven forbid I need information or the police! LOL I am due for an upgrade in 2 months, but honestly...I just couldn't wait any longer! Fred knew this...so while he was out grabbing 'dinner'...he grabbed something else...

A super cute new touch screen phone aka the Samsung Behold, in espresso [shiny brown] to match my super cute new laptop! Uhm...it was either that or pink and could you honestly see me walking around with a pink phone!? LOL Ahhh...I'm just so excited to text and have an uninterrupted conversation [well, uninterrupted by the phone...I can't help the kids]!

...Lambie is so random...this looks like a good place to 'hang out'! We are off to a picnic in the park...I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

His 1st BIG game...

Even though Ryan has been playing Hockey for about a year...he has yet to play an actual game. There aren't very many 5yo hockey players down here in the 'South'! LOL But, when the season rolled around again and Ryan returned to Super Goose...we found out they were bumping him & Jake upto the 11 & under group! [shock] My baby...playing with 8, 9...even 11yo's!? You have to be joking...NOPE! The nice thing about the 11-U group is that they play games w/other teams around the city...so here he is, at his VERY first hockey game! He's the little one on the left, waiting for the faceoff... Their cool new black jerseys...he's still #9 though!

OMG, look how tiny he is!!! Good game, good game...high 5's for Mommy!
