Gorgeous Spring day in Savannah, it was perfect for filling the divots at Savannah Harbor in preparation for the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf!
Ryan was volunteering with the First Tee of Savannah. This is where we left him, the girls & I snuck off for brunch at the Weston's yummy Aqua Star buffet!
Hitching a ride...and they're off.
We caught up with them, just before the 16th hole...mostly because we basically toured the entire course in search of the group, who apparently had worked faster than anticipated! Regardless, Ryan was excited to show me how it's done: First you fill...
...then you stomp! ;]
They walked the majority of the 18 holes...plenty of time to find a few random tee's!
And speaking of 18 holes...
lol...a Chloe sized hole!
The whole day was pretty cool, how often do you have the opportunity to stroll around, filling divots for a major golf tournament?! But, the BEST part of the day was a random chance meeting of Mr. Gary Player! I think this experience gave Ryan an appreciation of the sport, that he might not have had at the beginning of the morning...
