Even with the excitement of Chloe's 1st Christmas, it was a quiet one for the Lovins & myself with Fred in Honduras and Kailee off to California.

Chloe didn't care about much else once she got her Sophie...

Now, that I am in baby mode again...it was time to trade in the 'Aidan Satchel' for a little 'Eliz-a Baby' bag cuteness. What can I say, he loves me! ;] Uhmmm...this is year 2 of MbMJ for Christmas, I'm ok if this becomes a tradition! LOL

...and a Mommy Necklace is action. Chloe is pretty fascinated with it.

Since Fred is the chef in this house & with some of the other hubbies gone too, we decided dinner at the DFac would be a fun adventure. Yes, we ate Christmas Dinner at the DFac! LOL It was a total feast & surprisingly, really tastey!!!

It would've been amazing to have our whole family together and even though we were missing Fred & Kai...we still managed to have a wonderful Christmas. Looking forward to this year, when our family will be whole again.

Time to bake Christmas cupcakes!!! Santa prefers cupcakes to cookies...ya huh, he told me personally. 

 This year, I found these cute snow/gingerbread man cupcake toppers that you can decorate w/stickers. So we had most of the neighborhood kids over to help decorate & sip on hot cocoa.

 Hehe...they're adorable.

Since the Lovins would be opening the traditional jammies + the presents that Daddy sent special for them on Christmas Eve, then be on present overload from Santa...I let them open their cards & package from the Grandparents on Christmas Eve Eve! ;]

I never imagined, after 3 kids in Pampers that I would be making the switch to CLOTH!? But, we have and I am amazed at how easy the transition was. After a ton of research and picking the brains of every CD'ing Mama I know, we decided that GroVia Hybrid AI2's would be the best fit for us. We started with a small stash, only planning on cloth diapering at home during the day...realizing how silly that idea was, we quickly added a few more soakers & shells [tee's & wetbag] to our stash and began cloth diaper 'round the clock.

Fro-Yo

It didn't last long...[and probably for the best] but, for a quick minute Southside had a La'Berry and we enjoyed it often! Especially, for playdates...cause fro-yo is best w/friends. ;]

Mrs. Claus

Our day, started with a Holiday Party at Lambie's school! You can't tell, but this is the first time the girls have ever worn 'coordinating' outfits...Gymboree, of course. ;]

After school, we waited for Ryan...then headed off to visit w/our favorite Brookie. As usual, we stumbled into some fun...basically a private storytime w/Mrs. Claus.

Guess it pays to spend so much time at the Mall!? lol

She was a fabulous Mrs. Claus and the kids loved it! They hung onto their little reindeers all winter and every now and then, they'll pop up, only to disappear again. I tell the kids, Santa sent them to check on them and report back on their behavior...mwahahaha!

It's beginning to...

...look a lot like Christmas!!!

I absolutely adore the stockings my Mom made for the kids a couple years ago...I can't wait to see what Chloe's will look like!

This year I tried my hand at craftyness...first the wreath and now, handmade garland! Kailee & I did this together and I think it turned out really cute.

The tree all trimmed...it was a big'n too!!!
