Sunny Saturday

Savannah weather has been gorgeous lately...so we are spending as much time out & about as possible! Saturday we met up with the Mama's @ Forsyth, to let the kiddo's run...we also did alittle munchin'!

Whelp, it's Monday...blah. But, that just means we're one week closer to having our hero home...so, as far as I'm concerned bring on the Mondays! lol Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend...xoxo

A random, busy day!

We were all over town Wednesday. Our morning started out with a trip to storytime w/Kara & Gavin. Then home to do our craft project, since the craft room at the library was [once again] out of service. Then it was down to Forsyth for lunch w/the Mama's...which leads us to these pics:

From Forsyth we headed over to Kai's school...and then home to pick up Ry, then off to meet Brookie!!! We haven't seen her since Kai got back from Cali, so she had a special treat for Kai...nice bag! ;]

Kai got a Build-a-Bear Keroppi [unstuffed] for her B-day, so that was our first stop! Ya, think she'd be over B-a-B...considering she has like 7, but nope!

Lambie brought Bitsy along... Awww...awesome frame, Kai's fave color! .sweethearts. Another day down...i la foo, knuckles!

'Pink'nic in the Park

Well folks, it's Picnic in the Park time again! I seriously can't believe it's been a year!? This event is one of the last few things we did before Fred deployed and it was also the day we met The Propers [sans baby Jack Jack] . So, happy anniversary to me & Melissa...lol Anyways, the weather was PERFECT, the company was fabulous and the food was yummy.

Time to rest...Ha, they wore him out! .Trey. Naima loving on Jack. Kai goofin' around with Aivan. The amazing Strings of the South. The music was beautiful, I could've sat and listened to them all night. I hate that they hold this event on a Sunday...we always have to leave early and get the kids ready for the week ahead. But, we atleast got to enjoy the Disney set & dancing with the kids, before we had to head home!

The only thing that could've made that day any better, was to have Fred there with us! We miss him SO much these days...it's been a long year and we are more than ready to have our Hero home!!!

Kai's B-day Dinner

Since Kai flew off to Cali and had a fabulous Party, we decided to keep it simple...so she invited a few friends and we treated the girls to dinner @ Masato's. It's one of Kai's favorite restaurants and just plain fun!

Well...a week later and the Birthday Celebrations have finally come to an end! I really can't believe she's 13...it's so bittersweet! I won't get all mushy on ya...but, I have to say...We are very lucky to have such an AMAZING kid!
