Our Hero is home!

I truly can not express how thrilled we are to have our Hero home. Even though, we've kept busy and for the most part the deployment has flown by...it's been a looooong 12 months & I'm SO glad it's over! Fred's flight ended up being delayed 2 days and they didn't come marching through the hanger doors till 10pm...but it was totally worth the wait! :]
...just waiting!...it was packed! The bleachers on both sides were filled...we squeezed in at the 'front'! lolFINALLY...HUGSAND KISSES......and presents from Ireland!More waiting...this time for all Daddy's bags!LOL...he's trying to be helpful, sorry Ry...you're gonna need bigger muscles for that bag!My Mom Rocks! She was sweet enough to send Fred an Edible Arrangement, which was a HUGE hit w/the kids!
.delish. Mmmm...
Fred meeting Hammie & Pugsley!
Fred sprinted over to us and slid, which caught the attention of 2 local news camera's...so they came over and chatted briefly w/Fred & Kailee...here's a clip from Fox New, enjoy!
We've had a crazy, busy, fun weekend so stay tuned for all the pics!

Sun(day)!

We weren't planning on a trip to Forsyth, we weren't planning on much of anything...besides counting down the days till our Hero comes home. But, 1 text from Brookie and we were off to Forsyth.
...hmmm, who's this guy!? Chillen'...listening to Sissy's iPod!
LOL...it's not Easter, but he's my cuddle bunny!
.fall.
Since, we are just doing the typical Army 'hurry-up & wait'...I decided to get alittle blogging done. It was a great afternoon, a much needed day out. I can't wait till Fred is here, sippin' a beer, chillen' on the blanket with us! Hopefully, just a few more hours to go...it's been one delay after another!

Halloween pt2 (Sav'h)

Saturday: Round 2 of Trick-or-Treating
Our morning started out like any other...lol Starbucks & shopping. I had a few last minute costume pieces to pick before we headed over to Melissa & Jacks, like the jewels for Lambie's ruby slippers. I didn't want to ruin a perfectly good pair of All-stars w/glue, so figuring out a way to get them to stick was interesting. But, I've gotta pat myself on the back...considering I glued these on 1 by 1, they turned out pretty cute, Lambie LOVED them.
"There's no place like home..."
She made a pretty great Dorothy. .All my Lovins.
.Bella was a sweet angel.
Lambie knows the drill...she's got her bag WIDE open!
Ryan looked like a bobble head Iron Man!
.gorgeous.
.sweetness.
Well the kids got tons of candy and had a blast! It was a great distraction from this weeks exciting events!!! Hope everyone got lots of goodies & had a fabulous Halloween. Ya'll probably won't be seeing much from the blog till after Wednesday...but trust me, you won't want to miss it! ;]

Halloween pt1 (on-post)

We had a late start to our day...but, eventually Lambie and I headed out for some Starbucks & softplay! She HAD to wear her 'wicky witch' costume, which is fine by me...cause last Halloween, she was not feeling the 'tutu love'! lol
We have 2 nights of trick-or-treating this year, so in an effort to avoid having the same pics, both nights...I literally threw this together last minute w/things we had laying around the house, not too shabby.
.twirling.
.piggies. And Ryan wore his Prince costume from a 'Royal Ball' he had 2 years ago @ Maggie's. LOL I can't believe it still fits!!!
Haha, getting them to stop for a pic...when all they wanted to do was run to the next house, was challenging!
Don't mess w/the 'Tween Bee'! .my lovins.
While I took the little ones, down the street & back...Kai passed out candy w/a friend!
Then, we swapped and the big kids headed out...
.random.
.tootsie pop.
.candy.
Ryan's haul...I don't even know what to do with all this candy!? Thank god, Daddy will be home soon to 'inspect' it! ;] lol
Well, plenty more pics to come...hopefully, I'll get them blogged before Fred gets in! Eek!!! What an exciting week[end] we have ahead of us...Happy Halloween, everyone!!!
